About Sophia
Touch has the power to soften what’s tight, settle what’s restless, and remind us that we belong in our bodies. My work is about just that, creating a space where you can exhale, unravel, and be met with care.
As an outdoor educator and yoga instructor, I’ve always felt drawn to helping people access more ease and relief in their bodies; meeting the natural tension and discomfort of life with our innate resilience. Orienting always towards ease.
Massage is just that. I’ve been practicing since 2018, with training through the Port Townsend School of Massage (PTSM) and an intensive 9-month Thai massage program at the Naga Center in Portland, OR. I’ve been teaching at PTSM since 2020, sharing this beautiful work with others who also feel called to it.
My style is rooted in Thai massage but practiced on a table, woven with oils, liniments, and an intuitive blend of deep, flowing, and rhythmic touch. I use rocking and jostling to soften resistance, stillness to invite space, and energetic waves to guide the body toward unwinding.
Each session is shaped by what you need, whether deep release, gentle holding, or something in between. Without tending to the nervous system, not much truly lets go.
I bring my full tool bag to every session: cupping, scraping, treatment techniques, stillness, and breath work. Everything is included, nothing is extra, and all of it can be adjusted to meet you.
Come as you are. There’s nothing to fix, only places to soften. Let’s listen to what your body needs and follow where it leads.…
